The Economic Times - - The Edit Page -

Apropos the Edit, ‘When Inner-Party Flaws Fail the People’ (Feb 8), if someone like V K Sasikala, who neither has governance track record nor the experience of running a political party, is made CM, it exposes the vacuum in the AIADMK. And, when the current CM O Panneerselvam says that he was forced to resign, it makes the political situation in Tamil Nadu all the more murkier. Four years is too long a period in Indian politics. Further, Sasikala must understand that it will be a tough task for her to generate revenues to fulfil many of Jayalalithaa’s promised social welfare schemes.
