Industry Leaders to Advise Times-SP Jain Media Programme
Course balances traditional media with digital media
Mumbai: The Times of India Group, in partnership with the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), has launched Program in Strategic Media & Entertainment Management (PSMEM)to provide professional education in the media and entertainment industry. Leading names from the media and entertainment industry form the advisory council of the course. They include Dr Ranjan Banerjee, dean, SPJIMR; CVL Srinivas, CEO — South Asia, Group M; Raj Nayak, CEO at Colors-Viacom 18; MK Anand, MD and CEO, Times Television Network; Prashant Panday, MD and CEO, Radio Mirchi; Ambi MG Parameswaran, former CEO, FCB Ulka Advertising; Deepak Lamba, CEO, WWM; and Karan Johar, film producer and director.
One of the highlights of the programme is a carefully curated curriculum that balances traditional media with new-age digital media. It will be delivered via Times Centre for Learning Ltd in a blended mode (TCLL).

Main essence of the curriculum is a perfect balance between knowledge, skills and attitude. The curriculum is a judicious mix of media/ entertainment topics and management components which offers wider exposure to students.
