Chief Jus­tice of In­dia JS Khe­har does not like slangs or Amer­i­can­isms in court. One day, he tore into a young lawyer for say­ing Feb. “What’s Feb?” He asked cut­tingly. “Say February,” he told the coun­sel. On an­other day, Khe­har was heard be­rat­ing a young lawyer for say­ing “gonna get”. “What is gonna get?” He de­manded to know forc­ing the lawyer to apol­o­gise pro­fusely.
