Twit­ter Cans Anti-abuse Up­date

To curb on­line abuse and ha­rass­ment, Twit­ter has an­nounced an up­date that would not no­tify users when they were added to lists, but the up­date was soon rolled back fol­low­ing user feed­back. Twit­ter Safety ac­count on Tues­day posted in a tweet: “We want you to get no­ti­fi­ca­tions that mat­ter. Start­ing to­day, you won’t get no­ti­fied when you are added to a list.” How­ever, as a Tech Crunch re­port noted, be­ing added to lists can also be a form of ha­rass­ment in and of it­self
