2 Killed, 18 Hurt in Sui­cide At­tack in Pe­shawar

Pe­shawar: At least two peo­ple were killed and 18 oth­ers in­jured on Wed­nes­day when a mo­tor­cyle-borne sui­cide bomber struck a gov­ern­ment ve­hi­cle in this restive north­west­ern Pak­istani city. The blast oc­curred in Hay­atabad area of Pe­shawar when a sui­cide bomber hit a gov­ern­ment ve­hi­cle, po­lice was quoted as say­ing by Geo News. At least two peo­ple were killed and 18 in­jured in the sui­cide at­tack. The blast hap­pened as of­fi­cials from the pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment were ex­pected to in­au­gu­rate the Out Pa­tient Depart­ment (OPD) at the Hay­atabad Med­i­cal Com­plex, Dawn News re­ported. Pak­istan Tehrik-i-In­saf (PTI) Chair­man Im­ran Khan and other se­nior party lead­ers were ex­pected to at­tend the cer­e­mony. This was the third ter­ror­ist at­tack in Pak­istan on Wed­nes­day.
