Yamaha to Recall YZF-R3 Bikes Here
New Yamaha will recall 1,155 units of the YZF-R3 motorcycles in India to rectify a defect related to fuel tank bracket and main switch sub assembly, the two-wheeler company said.
India Yamaha Motor said its Japanese parent Yamaha Motor Co announced the recall after detecting defects in the parts. “In India, this will affect 1,155 vehicles,” it said in a statement.
Yamaha will replace the defective parts with modified ones at its dealerships. The replacement activity will begin immediately.
Yamaha had recalled 902 units of the YZF-R3 in June 2016 to fix a defect related to clutch pressure plate and oil pump assy.
