In­dia’s For­eign Ex­change Re­serves Down $361m

In­dia's for­eign ex­change re­serves stood at $362.7 bil­lion as on Fe­bru­ary 10, down $361mil­lion from a week ago, the Re­serve Bank of In­dia said on Fri­day. The for­eign ex­change re­serves have been in a very healthy po­si­tion for the last few weeks, with the RBI hav­ing also boosted it by $1.6 bil­lion in the first week of Fe­bru­ary, sup­ported by a strong ru­pee. Mar­ket sources said in­flows of for­eign funds have boosted the In­dian mar­ket and al­lowed the ru­pee to be sta­ble.
