FIPB Clears 15 Investment Proposals worth 12,200 cr
New Delhi: The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) has cleared 15 investment proposals worth ₹ 12,200 crore, including those of Apollo Hospitals, Hindustan Aeronautics, Dr Reddy’s and Vodafone.
Six proposals, including that of Gland Pharma, with the proposed FDI inflow of ₹ 8,800 crore, were deferred for further consultation.
Twinstar Technologies’ proposal was the biggest at ₹ 9,000 crore. The Apollo Hospitals proposal is worth ₹ 750 crore while state-run Hindus- tan Aeronautics will get ₹ 170 crore. The government had in the budget for 2017-18 announced its decision to wind up the FIPB to improve ease of doing business.
