Mysterious Three

The Economic Times - - Money & Banking -

While the interviews for the post of Reserve Bank’s deputy governor was conducted last week, there were a lot of tense moments. Some eleven of over 100 applicants were shortlisted for interviews. But the interesting aspect was that there were three ‘mysterious’ candidates from outside the list. Apparently, the three names were selected by the Prime Minister’s Office. Expectation was that one of the three would have his way. To everyone’s pleasant surprise, there was no ‘mysterious three’. But the mystery on who started all this still remains.
