For­mer Ex­ec­u­tive of Tata Mo­tors Jumps to His Death

Prashant Sibal, a for­mer ex­ec­u­tive of Tata Mo­tors, jumped to his death on Friday from a high­rise in Cen­tral Mum­bai, re­ports

Sibal was in his late 40s and had re­cently re­signed from the com­pany un­der the vol­un­tary re­tire­ment scheme. He is sur­vived by his wife and two sons. Two peo­ple in the know said he had left be­hind a note de­tail­ing the rea­son for his ac­tion. A Tata Mo­tors spokesper­son, in a state­ment, said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with his fam­ily and we will pro­vide all the nec­es­sary sup­port. We are fully co­op­er­at­ing with the au­thor­i­ties con­cerned in­ves­ti­gat­ing this mat­ter.”
