Bombay House is seeing a lot of traffic. That’s inevitable after such a public transition. Every second day, there is a new hire--mostly a former banker--or a high-profile exit as adhering to core Tata values take centrestage once again. It seems new boss N Chandrasekaran has a zero tolerance policy for any errors of omission or commission and some executives of a group company have learnt this the hard way, we hear. The latest is a heavyweight whose strategic decisions seem to have lost favour. The winds of change seem to be sweeping through the corporate headquarters of the haloed Tata Group.
