Kel­logg In­dia Names Mohit Anand as MD

New Delhi: Ce­real maker Kel­logg on Tues­day named for­mer Unilever ex­ec­u­tive Mohit Anand as manag­ing di­rec­tor for its In­dia and South Asia busi­ness. Anand, who was global VP at Unilever based out of Lon­don, suc­ceeds Sangeeta Pen­durkar, who has stepped down af­ter a six-year stint. Anand will also be a mem­ber of Kel­logg’s Asia Pa­cific lead­er­ship team, the maker of Spe­cial K and Honey Loops ce­re­als said in a state­ment. ET was the first to re­port on Anand be­ing named for the top job at Kel­logg In­dia. “The In­dia break­fast and snacks mar­ket in par­tic­u­lar is con­stantly evolv­ing with dy­namic con­sump­tion trends and en­try of sev­eral play­ers,” Anand said. He was ear­lier with con­sumer goods gi­ant Proc­ter & Gam­ble, where he worked across func­tions in­clud­ing mar­ket­ing for In­dia, the Philip­pines and Sin­ga­pore.
