Ben­galuru: Se­rial en­tre­pre­neur Bhavin Tu­rakhia, who has founded firms such as Directi and Me­dia.net, has joined on­line learn­ing plat­form Unacademy’s board as a di­rec­tor. Tu­rakhia will con­trib­ute to Unacademy’s over­all busi­ness strat­egy. Founded by Gau­rav Mun­jal, Ro­man Saini, Hemesh Singh and Sachin Gupta, Unacademy is an on­line learn­ing plat­form that helps ed­u­ca­tors cre­ate cour­ses. It has over one mil­lion users and over 40,000 on­line lessons and spe­cialised cour­ses cre­ated by ed­u­ca­tors. “Bhavin’s ex­pe­ri­ence in man­age­ment and grow­ing large com­pa­nies is in­valu­able to Unacademy,” said Mun­jal, CEO, Unacademy. “Over the years, Bhavin is some­one we have al­ways looked up to, and when­ever we reached out, he was re­spon­sive. As we pre­pare for our next phase of growth, we look for­ward to his men­tor­ship and guid­ance.”
