Cabinet, what should worry her is that the BJP leaders are being ‘advised’ by a few to bring in her rival and cousin Dhananjay Munde into the party. Dhananjay is currently in Nationalist Congress Party. But talk in BJP is gaining ground to poach Dhananjay, who is considered to be a better bet for the party.

Incidentally both Tawde and Pankaja had already lost a few of their ministries during a reshuffle last year. While Pankaja lost water conservation portfolio, Tawde got divested of medical education portfolio. Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar was being touted to be included as a minister in the Fadnavis government reshuffle. However, it has been now learnt that there is some rethink going on inducting him. There is however, a suspense whether Eknath Khadse, who resigned as a revenue minister after facing allegations of conflict of interest, would be inducted. Party leaders said the decision would have to be taken by BJP chief Amit Shah and the chief minister . BJP leaders said besides these, many ministers from the hinterland, who have not performed well may be shunted out. However, these changes at the Cabinet and party levels would be undertaken after a go-ahead from the BJP top brass.
