JAL Seeks SC Nod to Sell Ya­muna Eway Toll Project

New Delhi: Jaiprakash As­so­ciates has moved the Supreme Court, seek­ing per­mis­sion to sell its toll project in the Ya­muna Ex­press­way in or­der to cover its li­a­bil­ity to­wards the Jaypee In­frat­ech home­buy­ers.

“We have filed a pe­ti­tion with Supreme court to hive-off our tolling project at Ya­muna Ex­press­way to gen­er­ate ₹ 2,000 crore to cover its li­a­bil­ity to­wards Jaypee In­frat­ech home­buy­ers,” said Ad­vo­cate Anu­pam Lal Das rep­re­sent­ing Jaiprakash As­so­ciates. The case was brought be­fore a bench of Chief Jus­tice Di­pak Misra and Jus­tices A.M. Khan­wilkar and D.Y. Chan­drachud. — Our Bu­reau
