India Inc’s security measures could put the protection services of some governments to shame. One industrialist’s home is such a fortress that, during festivities, many of those invited have to deposit their mobile phones at the entrance. The select few who are allowed to carry cellphones have a magnetic strip blocking the possibility of photos being taken. Once inside the home, armed guards keep an eye on guests on all floors and even time spent in the festival arena is monitored. Gazing around or walking into rooms that are not part of the plan is strictly prohibited.
