Khar police Inspector Sanjay More among recipient of President’s Medal

Inspector Sanjay Maruti More attached with Khar Police station is among the three police officers of the city police who are the recipient of the ‘Police Medal for Gallantry-2013’, conferred on them by the President of India. In the year 2010, inspector More was the member of the three officers team of Chembur police station who were instrumental in saving the lives of a Chembur builder and his family from the clutches of Anand Dangle, a gangster of the Ravi Pujari gang. The gangster, after holing up inside the flat of the businessman at his sixth floor apartment in Kaveri building at Ganga Estate in Chembur held the family hostage. Without caring for their personal safety, the three officers rescued all the hostages unscathed by barging into the flat and killing Dangle on the spot. P I More was earlier attached with Sakinaka Police station , Chembur police station , Anti corruption Bureau(ACB) and various other police strion of the city. Known as a clean man, Inspector More wants to finish the crime from Khar under the supervision of Additional Commissioner of police Nagre Patil ,DCP Hoshing Dorje and his other superior officers.
