Carrom championship in Thane

52nd State & Inter District Carrom Championship 2016 is organised under the auspices of Thane District Carrom Association & Maharashtra Carrom Association between 13th to 16th August. The tournament will be held at CKP Hall (A/C), Kharkar Ali, Thane (West). In the tournament, following events will be held- Men Singles, Women Singles, Men Veteran Singles (age above 50 Years), Women Veteran Singles (age above 50 years), InterDistrict Men Team Championship and Inter-District Women Team Championship. Nearly 18 major Carrom playing districts of Maharashtra totalling around 750 players are expected to participate.

Prize Money totalling more than Rs. 5,50,000/- and trophies will be given to the winners. During the Championship state level panel umpire examination also will be held.
