Roy Moore in trou­ble again

NEW YORK: A fifth woman has ac­cused Repub­li­can Se­nate can­di­date Roy Moore of sex­ual mis­con­duct, claim­ing he as­saulted her when she was a teenager, as the evan­gel­i­cal con­ser­va­tive came un­der mount­ing party pres­sure to quit the Alabama elec­tion.

Moore de­nies any wrong­do­ing, call­ing the al­le­ga­tions “ab­so­lutely false.”

But Bev­erly Young Nel­son claimed the now 70year-old sex­u­ally as­saulted her when she was a 16-year-old wait­ress and he was a county dis­trict at­tor­ney around Jan­uary 1978.

Nel­son said she was mo­ti­vated to speak out af­ter four other women told The Washington Post that Moore also pur­sued them in their teens.
