Roy Moore in trouble again
NEW YORK: A fifth woman has accused Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore of sexual misconduct, claiming he assaulted her when she was a teenager, as the evangelical conservative came under mounting party pressure to quit the Alabama election.
Moore denies any wrongdoing, calling the allegations “absolutely false.”
But Beverly Young Nelson claimed the now 70year-old sexually assaulted her when she was a 16-year-old waitress and he was a county district attorney around January 1978.
Nelson said she was motivated to speak out after four other women told The Washington Post that Moore also pursued them in their teens.
