Young man throws ink at Haryana CM in Hisar, held

CHANDIGARH: In a se­cu­rity breach, a young man on Thurs­day threw ink on Haryana Chief Min­is­ter Manohar Lal Khat­tar dur­ing his visit to Hisar town, fol­low­ing which the for­mer was ar­rested.

The Chief Min­is­ter had gone to Hisar, nearly 250 km from here, to par­tic­i­pate in a roadshow in the evening. He was seen wip­ing off a few ink stains from his face, in­clud­ing fore­head, with a hand­ker­chief. Khat­tar later drove in an open jeep in the town for the roadshow. Per­son­nel in the se­cu­rity de­tail of the Chief Min­is­ter, who en­joys Z-plus se­cu­rity, caught hold of the young man who also shouted slo­gans against the Khat­tar govern­ment.
