LeJ Balochis­tan chief, two sui­cide bombers killed in Pak­istan’s army oper­a­tion

QUETTA: The chief of the ter­ror or­gan­i­sa­tion Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) was killed by se­cu­rity forces in an in­tel­li­gence-based oper­a­tion in Killi Al­mas area of Balochis­tan on Thurs­day, as per a state­ment from the Pak­istan Army's me­dia wing, In­ter-Ser­vices Pub­lic Re­la­tions (ISPR). The oper­a­tion was con­ducted af­ter se­cu­rity forces re­ceived in­tel­li­gence af­ter a top ter­ror­ist was ear­lier ar­rested. Ac­cord­ing to the in­tel­li­gence, it noted the pres­ence of the chief of the LeJ ter­ror out­fit and sui­cide bombers at a hide­out in Balochis­tan, Ex­press Tribune re­ported. The ISPR fur­ther said that dur­ing the oper­a­tion, two sui­cide bombers were also killed and one ter­ror­ist was in­jured, who has been ar­rested by the se­cu­rity forces.
