1 Mwp Rooftop Solar Plant operational at Hubballi Railway Workshop

A K Gupta, GM of SWR inspected Hubballi Railway Workshop recently. He has commissioned many new developmental works such as 999 Kwp (nearly 1 MWP) Solar Plant, Roller Bearing Cleaning Plant, New Shed for material storage etc. He was accompanied by S K Gupta, PCME; USS Yadav, Principal Chief Engineer; K Shanmugaraj, Principal Chief Materials Manager; Ajay Kumar, Chief Works Manager and other Senior Railway Officers. Hubballi workshop is 133 year old, established in 1885 and has since adopted with changing times continuously, to cater for maintenance of rail coaches. Gupta has reviewed the plans for workshop, availability of men, machinery and funds.
