Mad­hya Pradesh: Bhag­wat to ad­dress train­ing ses­sion of RSS mu­si­cal bands

BETUL (MP): Rashtriya Swayam­se­vak Sangh (RSS) chief Mo­han Bhag­wat ar­rived here on Satur­day on a two-day visit to take part in the con­clud­ing event of the train­ing ses­sion of the or­gan­i­sa­tion's mu­si­cal bands. An RSS func­tionary said Bhag­wat is sched­uled to ad­dress the con­clud­ing func­tion, a closed-door event, of the 21-day train­ing ses­sion ti­tled Akhil Bharatiya Ghosh Prashik­shan Varg. The RSS' bands are sim­i­lar to po­lice ones and strike up mu­sic us­ing drums, trum­pets, bu­gles and other in­stru­ments to ac­com­pany the or­gan­i­sa­tion's marches and drills. The func­tionary said around 125 mas­ter train­ers of RSS bands, drawn from dif­fer­ent parts of the coun­try, are par­tic­i­pat­ing in the ses­sion be­ing held at Bharat Bharti Res­i­den­tial School run by Sangh out­fit Vid­hya Bharti. The ses­sion is un­der­way at the school lo­cated in Jamthi vil­lage, around 8 km from the district head­quar­ters here, he said. Bhag­wat, who ar­rived here by train, is sched­uled to leave for the Sangh head­quar­ters in Nag­pur on Sun­day af­ter­noon by road, the func­tionary said.
