Meghalaya CM Sangma threatens to quit NDA

GUWAHATI: Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma stated that his National People’s Party has decided that if the Central govt passes the Citizenshi­p Amendment Bill in RS then they will break ties with NDA.

MANIPUR: Hundreds of women vendors from the four women's markets in Imphal city, who staged a sit-in protest in the main market complex from Saturday, have refused to return home. The activists said that they shall stay in the market complex until Wednesday when it is expected that the Bill will be passed by RS.
