Mum­bai rains halt trad­ing

Load­ing and un­load­ing ac­tiv­i­ties in the ed­i­ble oils market in Mum­bai re­mained se­verely af­fected for the sec­ond day af­ter the heavy rain on Tuesday. Al­lana’s rates for pal­molein were Ex JNPT ₹585 for 15-30 Septem­ber. Ex Khapoli / IVP ₹588/ 591 for 1 – 15 Oc­to­ber. Soya re­fined oil ₹670/ 673 for Septem­ber/ 1-15 Oc­to­ber. Golden agri’s rate for pal­molein was Ex JNPT ₹575 for Septem­ber.

Bar­ring urad, a ma­jor­ity of pulses and pulse seeds ei­ther ruled flat or traded marginally higher on weak ar­rival and de­cline in buy­ing sup­port at higher rates. Tur (Ma­ha­rash­tra) ruled at ₹4,600 a quin­tal, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) quoted at ₹4,000-4,050 . Tur dal (sawa no.) quoted at ₹5,800-5,900, tur dal (full) at ₹6,2006,300, while tur marka was at ₹6,900-7,000 . Moong (new) quoted at ₹5,000 , moong (old) at ₹4,700, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹4,000 . Moong dal (medium) quoted at ₹6,000-6,100, while moong dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,400-6,500.
