Shri­ram EPC bags or­ders worth ₹349 cr

Engi­neer­ing com­pany Shri­ram EPC has won mul­ti­ple or­ders amount­ing to ₹349 crore.

The first or­der amount­ing to ₹311 crore is from the Bi­har Ur­ban In­fra­struc­ture De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion Ltd for im­prove­ment of wa­ter sup­ply sys­tem in Gaya Mu­nic­i­pal Cor­po­ra­tion. The Asian De­vel­op­ment Bank (ADB)-funded project is to be ex­e­cuted over a pe­riod of 42 months, with op­er­a­tions and main­te­nance pe­riod of three years.

The sec­ond or­der amount­ing to ₹38 crore is from the Kar­nataka Ur­ban In­fra­struc­ture De­vel­op­ment & Fi­nance Cor­po­ra­tion Ltd and en­tails con­struc­tion of pipe­line, over­head tank and dis­tri­bu­tion net­work of 24/7 wa­ter sup­ply sys­tem at Byadgi along with op­er­a­tions and main­te­nance.

This project is also funded by ADB and is to be ex­e­cuted over a pe­riod of 24 months, while the O&M com­po­nent ex­tends up to eight years post com­ple­tion, ac­cord­ing to a state­ment.

“We have wit­nessed a steady flow of or­der wins across our busi­ness ver­ti­cals on the back of con­certed ef­forts to­wards re­viv­ing our core EPC busi­ness. These or­ders will aid us fur­ther in ac­cel­er­at­ing the re­vival process,” said T Shivara­man, MD & CEO.
