Mobycy launches bike-shar­ing app

Tak­ing on ride-hail­ing plat­form Ola, Gu­ru­gram­based green-tech start-up Mobycy on Thurs­day launched dock-less bi­cy­cle-shar­ing app on Google Play Store. Ola had in­tro­duced its own dock-less bike-shar­ing ser­vice ear­lier this month. “Mobycy presents users with a greener, health­ier means of commute with com­plete last-mile con­nec­tiv­ity,” said Akash Gupta, co-founder, Mobycy. Users can sign up on the app with Aadhaar iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and pay a re­fund­able se­cu­rity de­posit of ₹999 ( ₹499 for stu­dents). The app al­lows users to un­lock it via QR Code. The user can pay ₹10 for a sin­gle ride or buy the monthly sub­scrip­tion to avail two rides daily for an hour each.
