Will Tata Mo­tors skid fur­ther on JLR sales?

Tata Mo­tors-owned Jaguar Land Rover on Fri­day re­ported a 4.6 per cent de­cline in to­tal re­tail sales at 44,282 units in Oc­to­ber. Sales in China de­creased by 49 per cent as mar­ket con­di­tions re­mained chal­leng­ing amid tar­iff changes and con­tin­ued trade ten­sions with the US. How­ever, re­tail sales rose in the UK by 46.9 per cent and North Amer­ica by 24.1 per cent on the back of newer mod­els — Jaguar I-PACE and EPACE and re­freshed Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.
