Ja­panese firms to in­vest in Net­tlinx power plant

Ja­panese in­vest­ment firms Takara Leben Co Ltd and Kuni Umi As­set Man­age­ment Co Ltd will in­vest in the ₹258crore Net­tlinx SVGreen wasteto-en­ergy plant.

This was an­nounced by Loka Manohar Reddy, Chair­man, Net­tlinx Ltd, at a press con­fer­ence here on Fri­day.

The 12 MW waste-to-en­ergy plant will come up at the Pharma City near here. It will be built by SVGreen in tech­ni­cal col­lab­o­ra­tion with Hi­tachi Zosen over the next 18-24 months. Both the Ja­panese firms will jointly in­vest 30 per cent of ₹78- crore eq­uity com­po­nent of the project.

The to­tal cost of the project is es­ti­mated at ₹258 crore. The bal­ance fund will be mo­bilised from banks and other fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tions. The com­pany plans to set up 10 more plants over the next five years.
