4 days on, Kerala govt. doctors call off strike
Government doctors in Kerala, who have been on strike for four days over the extension in out-patient hours at the newly introduced Family Health Centres (FHCs), have withdrawn their protest. The decision late on Monday followed talks between Health Minister K.K. Shylaja and leaders of the Kerala Government Medical Officers’ Association here. Ministeriallevel talks would also be held in the first week of May.
