ADGP re­cuses him­self from case against Chandy

Ad­di­tional Di­rec­tor Gen­eral of Po­lice (ADGP), South­ern Range, Anil Kanth, has re­port­edly pleaded his in­abil­ity to mon­i­tor the in­ves­ti­ga­tion against for­mer Ker­ala Chief Min­is­ter Oom­men Chandy, who is fac­ing the charge of hav­ing sex­u­ally ex­ploited so­lar in­vest­ment fraud case ac­cused Saritha S. Nair.


In per­fect sync: Snake boats par­tic­i­pat­ing in the 66th edi­tion of the Nehru Tro­phy Boat Race held in the Pun­na­mada Lake in Alap­puzha, Ker­ala, on Satur­day. Of the 81 boats, in­clud­ing 25 ‘chun­dan val­lams’ that took part in this year’s race, ‘Payip­padan Chun­dan,’ rowed by Pal­lathu­ruthy Boat Club, emerged as the win­ner.
