Tran­scra­nial al­ter­nat­ing cur­rent stim­u­la­tion (tACS) could be the an­swer to chronic lower back pain, a study pub­lished in Jour­nal of Pain sug­gests. Re­searchers tar­geted a spe­cific area (so­matosen­sory cor­tex) with a weak al­ter­nat­ing cur­rent and by en­hanc­ing the nat­u­ral al­pha waves, re­duced back pain.
