Short Parliament session likely after Gujarat polls
A SHORT winter session of Parliament is likely to be held after the Gujarat Assembly elections.
Informed sources said dates for the session were likely to be decided at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh on December 17. They said the Government was looking at the possibility of calling the session, which may last a week or 10 days at the most.
The session may start immediately after the campaign ends on December 12, the sources said, and end before Christmas.
