Kothale died after he was hit with a heavy tool: Report
ANIKET Kothale, the 25-year-old who was allegedly killed by policemen in custody at Sangli police station on November 6, succumbed to injuries caused by a heavy tool which led to blooding in stomach and chest, a medical report said on Saturday.
On November 6, five policemen, including a PSI, two head constables, in Sangli police station allegedly killed Aniket and later burnt his body at Amboli ghat. Aniket had been arrested as a suspected accused in a robbery case along with his colleague in false crime. The Kothale family members received his body on January 11 after nearly two months of his murder, for last rites.
This was cleared in medical report, which submitted by Miraj Government Medical College to the CID Department, which has been investigating the Kothale murder case.
