Spir­i­tual guru Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj shoots him­self to death in In­dore

SPIR­I­TUAL leader Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj com­mit­ted sui­cide by shoot­ing him­self at his res­i­dence in In­dore on Tues­day. He also left a sui­cide note be­fore tak­ing the ex­treme step and po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the shock­ing in­ci­dent.

Chief Min­is­ter Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other politi­cians have ex­pressed grief over the death of Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj.

The sui­cide note in­di­cates that Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj was stressed and fed up. “Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj shot him­self with licensed re­volver around 2 pm. A sui­cide note has been re­cov­ered from the in­ci­dent site and probe is un­der­way to know the rea­sons be­hind the in­ci­dent,” Tezaji Na­gar po­lice sta­tion SHO, Girish told to ‘The Hi­tavada’.

Po­lice said, Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj put re­volver to his tem­ple and pressed the trig­ger. The news pour­ing into me­dia says that Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj locked him­self in a room and shot him­self dead.

When the door of his room re­mained closed for a long time and there was no re­sponse from in­side, his fam­ily mem­bers and ser­vants broke open the door only to found him in a pool of blood.

He was im­me­di­ately rushed to hos­pi­tal, where at­tend­ing doc­tors de­clared him dead.

Bhaiyyuji Ma­haraj was known for pro­vid­ing spir­i­tual guid­ance to politi­cians, peo­ple and also for his phil­an­thropic works. He had a vast num­ber of fol­low­ers, in­clud­ing that from Ma­ha­rash­tra. He had done var­i­ous kinds of pub­lic wel­fare works in Mad­hya Pradesh and Ma­ha­rash­tra.

It was some months ago that Mad­hya Pradesh Govern­ment ap­pointed him as Min­is­ter of State, but he re­fused to ac­cept var­i­ous Govern­ment fa­cil­i­ties. Be­fore his death, his twit­ter han­dle also showed some posts in which he had wished Union Min­is­ter Naren­dra Singh To­mar on lat­ter’s birth­day.
