Bhaiyyuji Maharaj’s last rites performed in Indore
THE last rites of spiritual leader Bhaiyyuji Maharaj were performed in Indore on Wednesday. Hundreds of people and some renowned politicians, including RPI leader and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, Maharashtra ministers Pankaja Munde, Eknath Shinde and Congress leader Shobha Oza attended the funeral of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj.
Kuhu, who is daughter from the first wife of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj, performed the last rites of spiritual guru who was known for his philanthropic attitude, preaching and was close to many political leaders. Eyes of everyone were moist.
The body of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj was kept on an open truck and was taken to crematorium ground. Most of the followers could not believe that their beloved spiritual guru is no more. Some disciples broke down when the body of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj was taken for last rites. Bhaiyyuji Maharaj’s daughter Kuhu and second wife Dr Ayushi were inconsolable.
Earlier, there was news that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and some of his ministers may take part in last rites of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj but later on, owing to some urgent reasons, CM could not attend the last rites of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj.
In the meantime, police have decided to go for forensic test of suicide note left by Bhaiyyuji Maharaj in which he told that his main ‘Sevadar’ should handle the properties and financial matters of him as he had faith in him.
“We have seized electronic gadgets including laptop, mobile phone of Bhaiyyuji Maharaj to investigate the case. Instead of any family member, he made Sevadar as caretaker of his properties and financial matters,” police said.
