What prompted you to become an interior designer?

Since the age of seven, I would re-arrange the furniture in my bedroom and in my parents living room and would draw floor plans. I looked forward to the latest issue of Better Homes and Gardens to pour over to analyze how I could improve on the photos I saw in the magazines.
