Textile making is an ancient craft, with a history almost as old as mankind itself. Jacquard textile is one kind of woven textile, known as a highgrade textile with high-tech, intricate and detailed woven-in motifs. The fibres that are generally used for making such fabric include cotton fibre, rayon fibre, linen fibre, polyester -or blends of other synthetic fibres. This textured fabric has varying drape-ability and durability depending on the fibres used.

The sky is the limit when it comes to weaving jacquards. There is a lot to play with in terms of designing, use of multiple threads of varying thickness, etc. There are any number of possibilities and varieties. Referring to price range one can get products priced from 1 USD to 100 USD. You name it and we will give it to you. There are different types of jacquards such as damask, jacquard taffeta, flat jacquards, etc. Popular jacquard designs include damasks, florals, and geometrics.

Jacquard is the epitome of glamour, opulence and sophistication. Fabrics can completely change a space, and none can do so more than the beauty and matchless grace of jacquard. Jacquards, damasks, and linens are particularly hot right now because these patterns can resonate brilliantly with the interiors. The best part is that this works just as well in a formal setting as a casual and relaxed one.

Talking about the colour, Beige is never to be forgotten because it is such a reliable color. Beige never fights – it happily goes along with everything. The color range of beige is vast, from pale off-whites through tans and taupes and everything in between. Saying Think Bold means, there will always be an attraction to bright, vibrant color. Whether used as a bold, brash statement or for playful bits of contrast and drama, it is all about choice of colours. To take it to the next level, mixing and matching is a strategy that never fails to create an inspired space. No matter what the color choice, blending and mixing stripes, patterns, oversized florals, and other bold statements make the most out of any basic design platform. Use self-patterned versions for understated elegance or patterned ones to create a statement. Jacquard fabric is great curtain material. There are lots of different designs and colours to choose from. You can get floral jacquard fabric as well as selfpatterned versions which are great if you want to add texture without adding colour.

Looking at fabrics can be a dizzying affair. With a zillion different options, presented in books so big you could benchpress them, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged when shopping for upholstery.

‘Think bold! There are so many ways to use the colors, textures, and patterns of this graceful material to create a cheerful, playful, and fun ambience without sacrificing dramatic elegance.’
