Midnight Deepa homage at Jaya memorial
Chennai: J Deepa, niece of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, paid a surprise visit to the memorial of her aunt on Marina at midnight on Friday and paid homage. She was accompanied by her husband Madhavan. Talking to mediapersons, Deepa said the present government headed by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami should not last as it did not have necessary majority. “This government is anti-people and should go and fresh elections should take place,” she added.Stating that she was resolved to protect the AIADMK, Deepa said since there was no strong leadership in that party now, a notion that BJP had been remote controlling it had occurred. She said NEET was not necessary for Tamil Nadu.
