7th day for anti em­ployee's poli­cies of Academy au­thor­i­ties and de­manded im­me­di­ate in­ter­ven­tion of pres­i­dent JKAACL Chief Min­is­ter Me­hbooba Mufti and vice pres­i­dent

The lead­ers of Jammu and Kash­mir Cul­tural Academy Em­ploy­ees Union sup­ported by, J&K Na­tional Trade Union Front, So­cial Forestry, Pres­i­dent Sports, NTUF and Sec­re­tary, So­cial Forestry, warned the au­thor­i­ties to ad­dress their de­mands, pro­jected be­fore them from time and again, im­me­di­ately, oth­er­wise they will chalk out a com­pre­hen­sive pro­gramme of protest against the in­jus­tice, they are fac­ing off.

The lead­ers de­manded im­me­di­ate pro­mo­tions/con­fir­ma­tions of all the em­ploy­ees who were placed against the posts or el­i­gi­ble to be pro­moted against va­cant posts. They stated that fu­ture of 32 em­ploy­ees are thrown in the dark­ness In two DPC,S in two and half years as their place­ments are made between 2011 to 2014 by the au­thor­i­ties as they have been kept out of DPC rec­om­men­da­tions. The Union leader stated that the em­ploy­ees of Divi­sional Of­fice Jammu are sit­ting in shabby rooms which were orig­i­nally meant to be used as green rooms/re­tir­ing rooms.

They said that the Div Of­fice is presently portraying ex­tremely un­hy­gienic con­di­tions of Academy which re­quires a change.

Ob­ject­ing on chang­ing of Academy Re­cruit­ment Rules reg­u­larly ac­cord­ing to will and wishes au­thor­i­ties to ac­com­mo­date blue eyed boys , the union leader to­day lodged a strong protest in the mat­ter and de­manded uni­for­mity for each em­ploy­ees of Academy for pro­mo­tion to next post/grade. They fur­ther urged upon to in­clude at least three mem­bers of the Union must and be made party in rule fram­ing com­mit­tee. The lead­ers made al­le­ga­tions against the Sec­re­tary and Vice Pres­i­dent for tak­ing their com­plaints for granted against the of­fi­cers as em­ploy­ees of the divi­sional of­fice sent a com­plaint to the sec­re­tary on 7th of oct. 2017 and no ac­tion had been taken till date as same case has been seen in Kash­mir of­fice as on fe­male em­ployee sub­mit­ted a com­plaint to Sec­re­tary and vice pres­i­dent of the cul­tural academy on 8th of Septem­ber 2017 for ha­rass­ment by se­nior of­fice but no ac­tion has been taken till date.

The State Pres­i­dent of JKCAEU Ramesh Singh, Divi­sional Pres­i­dent Pankaj Sharma, Gen Sec­re­tary

Su­nil Sharma, Sec­re­tary of the Union Ch Mehmood Riaz and ad­viser Rita Khadyal and Anil Tickoo were present along with all the em­ploy­ees of the divi­sional of­fice.
