Bhopal:

The RSS said on Thursday the charges against Jay Shah, son of Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah, can be probed if there is prima facie evidence but it is for those who allege a scam to prove it. “Necessary enquiry should be done and action can be taken accordingly,” senior RSS functionary Dattatreya Hosabale said in Bhopal, responding to queries related to the alleged spike in the turnover of a company owned by Jay Shah. He said there must be prima facie evidence for the charges to be enquired into. At the same time, he put the onus of proving the charges on those levelling them. “Those making the allegations should prove them first.” The RSS leader also distanced itself from senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha, who on Wednesday criticized the government for defending Jay Shah. Sinha had earlier created a furore after attacking the government’s management of economy.
