Team Banga Beats eyes for podium fin­ish at IBL

IN­DIA'S lead­ing real es­tate con­sul­tant group BOP, to­day in­tro­duced the In­dian play­ers from its BOP Banga Beats team here at a func­tion . The team BOP Banga Beats con­sists lead­ing, global bad­minton star P Kashyap along with Hu Yun, Tai Tze Ying, Carolina Marin, Carsten Mor­gensen, Arvind Bhat, Ak­shay Di­walkar, Aparna Balan, Aditya Prakash and J Meghana.

Com­mon­wealth Games Bronze Medal­ist P Kashyap is the icon player for the BOP Banga Beats. The BOP Banga Beats will rep­re­sent Ban­ga­lore in the up­com­ing In­dian Bad­minton League. Com­mon­wealth Games Bronze Medal­ist P Kashyap will lead the team along with the known names in the national and in­ter­na­tional bad­minton fra­ter­nity.

Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion the team icon player P Kashyap said," With such ex­cel­lent team and ex­pe­ri­enced coach we are aim­ing for fi­nals of the league. Would re­ally like to play in front of Ban­ga­lore crowd which al­ways had ap­pre­ci­ated and en­cour­aged bad­minton and pro­duced world class play­ers in the past".

Kashyap whose best world rank­ing was six, in the last 12 months was op­ti­mistic about a su­perla­tive per­for­mance of the play­ers at the up­com­ing World Cham­pi­onships that be­gin from Au­gust 3 in China. Amit Mavi, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor, BOP Group said "Team BOP Banga Beats is the per­fect blend of national and in­ter­na­tional play­ers which will def­i­nitely be go­ing to ben­e­fit the bud­ding tal­ent of the game in the coun­try. Play­ing with top ranked in­ter­na­tional play­ers with huge rep­u­ta­tion will only bring con­fi­dence for a bet­ter show­ing".

Team BOP Banga Beats chief coach U Vi­mal Kumar said "Our team is a rare com­bi­na­tion of young, ag­gres­sive and ex­pe­ri­ence which would stand out in the crunch sit­u­a­tion".
