Marandi for small par­ties’ tie-up

JHARK­HAND Vikas Mor­cha (Pra­jatantric) pres­i­dent Bab­u­lal Marandi to­day said his party was mak­ing ef­forts to bring all small par­ties on a sin­gle plat­form to con­test the forth­com­ing assem­bly elec­tions in al­liance.

"We are mak­ing ef­forts to bring all the small par­ties on one plat­form ahead of the assem­bly elec­tions, and I be­lieve we will be suc­cess­ful in our ef­forts," Marandi told re­porters here.

Stat­ing that his party has no reser­va­tion in con­test­ing along with small par­ties, the for­mer chief min­is­ter added his party was in touch with the lead­ers of such par­ties.

He claimed that for­mer chief min­is­ter Madhu Koda's Jai Bharat Sa­manta Party, Tri­namool Congress leader Bandhu Tirkey, Jhark­hand Party MLA Anosh Ekka and for­mer min­is­ter and Nau­jawan Shang­harsh Mor­cha leaer Bhanu Pratap Sahi had con­tacted him in this re­gard. "We are pon­der­ing over an al­liance with all these par­ties to con­test the assem­bly polls," Marandi added.
