To beat the heat: Moët Ice Impérial

I must admit that of my many issues with Delhi’s summer, one of the more frivolous ones is that it makes my bubbly go warm too quick. Luckily, I’m not the only one. While holidaying in the South of France, Benoît Gouez, the wine maker of Moet and Chandon, noticed people drinking their Champagne with ice to battle the heat. That sparked an idea, and shortly after, the brand unveiled Moët Ice Impérial, which has forever redefined the term “Champagne on Ice”.

Moët Ice Impérial is poured into a wine glass (the red wine style as opposed to the flutes) and three large cubes of ice are dropped in after. Made in the demi- sec or off-dry style, the wine is extremely fruity and aromatic,
