NEW YORK: On Tuesday, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu made news after he was escorted to and from the toilet of a restaurant he was dining in, by 20 security agents. In New York for the UN General Assembly meet, the Israeli PM chose to dine at the Harry Cipriani restaurant with his wife. The team of 40 agents following him everywhere was from the elite Israel Security Agency. Twenty of them showed up at the restaurant an hour in advance to check the place. The restaurant that seats about 100 people was swarming with the other 20 when the PM showed up 9:00. And as if this was not enough, the PM got up mid-meal to go to the toilet. The 20 other men got up and followed him to the toilet barricading him from all the directions. It has been reported that Bibi often has up to 500 security guards on a daily basis. He uses dogs to detect explosives and devices designed to disrupt anyone attempting to detonate a remote bomb using a mobile phone signal.
