A search is on for the editor-in-chief of the Ra­jya Sabha Tele­vi­sion (RSTV). The last date to ap­ply is 30 Novem­ber. Who’s who of the tele­vi­sion me­dia world have ap­plied for the post. Many of them have men­tioned how they are close to the saf­fron fam­ily. A se­nior TV jour­nal­ist has got a rec­om­men­da­tion let­ter writ­ten to the Vi­cePres­i­dent M. Venka­iah Naidu from an RSS func­tionary.

The RSTV is con­trolled by the Ra­jya Sabha Sec­re­tar­iat. Naidu as the Chair­man of the House of Elders is the top boss of the TV chan­nel, which was launched in 2011.
