Mumbai: A 26-year-old actress recently filed a molestation case against a casting agent. The accused has not been identified as he is on the run.

The actress has said in her police statement that she had gone to the Andheri office of the accused on September 19 for an audition. She then met him at Oshiwara on September 28 where he was in his car.

“He asked me to get into the front seat and started touching my thigh. I pushed his arm away but he kept repeating the act,” the actress said in her statement. “He asked me if I make enough money. I replied in the affirmative. He then said he was attracted to me. I told him I did not like his behaviour and left.” Later, the actress sent him a text, saying he shouldn’t touch people against their wish.

On September 29, he told her to keep mum about the text or get her reputation blemished. “We have registered a case,” said senior inspector SKhanvilkar.
