14-yr-old goes miss­ing af­ter fail­ing in exam

Mum­bai: A Vi­rar stu­dent, Yash Kolge (14), has gone miss­ing from his home af­ter he failed in his ex­ams. His fam­ily has taken to so­cial me­dia to find the teenager.

Yash, a stu­dent of Dr N P Shah School, had not in­formed his par­ents about an open house in the school on Satur­day. His mother Aparna got a text mes­sage re­gard­ing the same and she went to the school. When Yash learnt about this, he went miss­ing af­ter leav­ing his cell­phone at home.

His par­ents are cir­cu­lat­ing his pho­to­graphs on var­i­ous so­cial me­dia plat­forms in an at­tempt to get leads. “While we are keen that Yash pur­sue aca­demics. We would not scold him if he failed in a sub­ject or two,” said Aparna.

The fam­ily has con­tacted all their rel­a­tives and friends but could not get any in­for­ma­tion about Yash. A kid­nap­ping case has been reg­is­tered by the Ar­nala coastal po­lice.
