MU an­nounces all law exam re­sults fi­nally

Mum­bai: Mum­bai Uni­ver­sity an­nounced all pend­ing re­sults in the law fac­ulty on Thurs­day. Re­sults of semesters III and V from the three-year LLB pro­gramme were an­nounced along with se­mes­ter IX re­sults for the five-year pro­gramme.

With these three cour­ses, the uni­ver­sity cleared re­sults of over 76,000 stu­dents un­der the fac­ulty. Most ex­ams were con­ducted in De­cem­ber and some in Jan­uary. The re­sults were an­nounced after four-five months.

Of the 4,281 stu­dents who ap­peared for se­mes­ter III ex­ams in De­cem­ber, 43% cleared it. Of 4,034 who took se­mes­ter V ex­ams, 47% cleared it. Early this week, the uni­ver­sity post­poned most ex­ams un­der the law fac­ulty. Some stu­dents were against it as it would af­fect the next aca­demic term and higher ed­u­ca­tion plans.
