Up till 5.35am, judges back at 10.30am sharp

New Delhi: After hear­ing a joint pe­ti­tion of Con­gress and JD(S) till early morn­ing, Jus­tices A K Sikri, S A Bobde and Ashok Bhushan were back in court at 10.30am to hear cases listed in their courts.

The bench of Jus­tices Sikri, Bobde and Bhushan as­sem­bled at 2.10am for a hear­ing on the plea chal­leng­ing the Kar­nataka gov­er­nor’s de­ci­sion to in­vite BJP to form the gov­ern­ment. The bench dis­persed at 5.35am.

Five hours later, they were back in court. The bench of Jus­tices Sikri and Bhushan heard 72 cases and a bench headed by Jus­tice Bobde took up 50 cases.
